PocketPlays ("we", "us", "our") operates the website pocketplays.app and the PocketPlays application (the "Service"), an AI tool that helps flag football coaches design plays, practice plans, and call cards. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — the email address you register with. Your password is stored only as a secure one-way hash; we never store it in plain text.
• Content you create — the play descriptions and prompts you enter, and the plays, practice plans, wristband cards, and win/loss results you save to your account.
• Payment information — if you subscribe, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We store only a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
• Technical data — basic information such as your IP address, browser type, and a login session cookie needed to keep you signed in.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account.
• To generate plays and practice plans (see "AI provider" below).
• To process subscriptions and payments through Stripe.
• To send you account-related email, such as email verification.
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse.

Service providers we share data with

We use trusted third parties only as needed to run the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — when you generate a play or plan, the description you enter is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the result.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Render — application hosting and database storage.
• Email provider — to send verification emails, when that feature is enabled.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information and saved content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal or payment reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us.

Children

The Service is intended for coaches and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
